The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering includes a MS and Ph.D. program for Applied Statistics, including a specific focus on manufacturing statistics, reliability and quality control.

The System Informatics and Control program within ISyE features classes in
- systems modeling and informatics, and control,
- prognostics and performance monitoring,
- quality and reliability,
- and industrial statistics.
Along with a course in Reliability Theory, students are offered an assortment of applied classes that feature
- System Reliability Modeling and Planning,
- Accelerated Life Testing,
- Design and Analysis of Industrial Experiments,
- Data Mining,
- System Monitoring and Prognostics,
- and Manufacturing Systems Design & Improvement.
Several ISyE faculty members have made important contributions to reliability research, including professors
