One of the main areas of teaching and research in Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM) is quality and reliability engineering. There is an undergraduate program in Total Quality Engineering with a wide range of course in quality and reliability. For graduate programs, in addition to traditional coursework master, research master degree, and Ph.D. degrees, the department also hosts an Engineering Doctorate degree program, for middle or senior managers. Many quality and reliability related courses are available at all levels.

Reliability related courses are available at all levels.SEEM Dept is also active in research in quality and reliability engineering. The faculty members have been doing research in prognostic and health monitoring, degradation modeling, software reliability, maintenance models, qualify function deployment, total quality management etc.
