Why This Newsletter is Late

Why This Newsletter is Late

Usually, this newsletter comes out first thing on Monday mornings.  Today, it’s late.  It’s late because I didn’t get it done last week.  It’s late because I stayed off my laptop all weekend.

It’s late because I needed a break.

With COVID, I’ve been working seemingly every day.  I used to have great boundaries set for my day job as an asset management engineer.  I left my laptop at work and I didn’t access my emails nights or weekends.  I always worked on bringing great content to you (and my work with UpKeep) on weekends and nights.  Now, it’s all blended together, and with the work I’m doing on myself, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed.

How are you setting boundaries?

I’m still learning to set boundaries for myself especially since I have so much going but I’m focusing on putting myself above everything else.  I recommend you take a look at how COVID has changed your boundaries.  How has it changed your work?  Are you booking time for yourself?

Reliability Never Sleeps,
