Phil established The Mantua Group in March 2000, assuming the roles of CEO and Principal Consultant. With over three decades of expertise in Asset Management, Reliability, and Manufacturing Operations, he guides clients towards achieving their organizational objectives within production and business landscapes. Phil’s contributions extend to developing multiple Reliability Maintenance courses, catering to individuals ranging from C-Suite executives and VPs to Planners and Schedulers, and TPM/TQM Coordinators, ensuring the dissemination of reliability maintenance best practices across organizations.

Previously, Phil served as a Principal Reliability Engineer, Subject Matter Expert (SME), and Global Advisor at ARMS Reliability Engineers, where he specialized in Asset Strategy Management (ASM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM), introducing innovative reliability solutions worldwide. During his tenure, he also spearheaded the development of various training courses covering topics like RCM, RCA, Fault Tree Analysis, and MAXIMO, among others.

In leadership roles before ARMS, Phil held positions such as Principal Reliability Engineer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Executive Director of Asset Management and Reliability Technologies for Special Metals Corporation. Notably, he optimized production workflows, implemented SAP systems, and transformed struggling factories into top-tier operations, leveraging Reliability Manufacturing Principles and a balanced approach to Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM). Phil’s managerial experience encompasses roles such as Plant Manager, Engineering Manager, Capital Project Manager, and Maintenance Manager. He has provided training and consultancy services to diverse industries globally, including Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, and Utilities.
